Schiz Cheese with cream


Ingredients for four:
500 gr of Schiz cheese curd from the Tisoi dairy (eight slices)
Pouring cream as necessary.

Cut the 500 grammes of curd into 8 slices and brown them in the butter in an oven-proof dish. Season with a pinch of salt and lastly, add the pouring cream. Heat the dish in the oven and serve with polenta.

Schiz is produced from full-fat cow’s milk and rennet. It is neither salted nor matured and has a characteristic milky aroma and a mildly acidic taste.
